Well, we began as pub acquaintances Roberto and through mutually enjoyed banter; witty and cultural to silly and sublimely ridiculous we became good friends. Friday nights and Sunday nights at The Unicorn were a given that you'd be there throwing in darts of wit or provocation that greatly amused. Often though we'd pop up for a swift one after work on a week night and would join you one to one. We always looked forward to your knowledgable wide ranging conversation from Byzantine history, rugby, language, or where to go on holidays. You were a kind man Robert, I fondly remember recently being excited by a plant ID app ID put on my phone you showed great interest and I kept sending you off at the front of the pub to pick plants I couldn't reach, I still don't know if you were humouring me with your interest or not! We're thinking of you in 'the big Unicorn in the sky' happily conversing with great figures of history probably in their own languages nailing the regional accents. We love you and miss you and our thoughts are with all the family at such a difficult time. Juliet and Glenn xxx
